Dignity in Displacement
One year of financial support and practical education for displaced Palestinian families living in Egypt.
An uncertain reality, far from home
Over 100,000 Palestinians who have fled Gaza are now living in Egypt under difficult and uncertain conditions — facing ongoing challenges accessing basic needs, documentation, and stability.
Three structural barriers trap families in a cycle of dependence: difficulty accessing financial systems due to documentation challenges; inconsistency and impracticality of food donations; and the immense psychological burden of navigating a new country while rebuilding a life.
"This loop maintains families in a constant state of survival mode, making it impossible to rebuild and find stability as basic needs are a daily struggle to guarantee."
Three critical differentiators
Direct Access Without Documentation
Credits are delivered via the Talabat app — all that's required is an email address. This bypasses the documentation barriers that block access to traditional banking and money transfers.
Agency Over Donations
Families choose how to spend their credits — food, medication, and essentials — rather than receiving prescribed donations that may not match their actual needs or living context.
Longer-Term Stability
A 12-month commitment provides a year of respite from uncertainty. Paired with contextualised learning modules, it helps families move from survival mode toward rebuilding.

Where your money goes
The majority of all donations go directly to families. We are committed to ensuring the greatest possible share of each donation reaches the people we support.
- Monthly credits (12 months)£1,029
- Talabat top-up in EGP1,000 EGP
- Platform licensing fee4%
- N4P operational contribution1%
- Transfer fees & VAT (UK + Egypt)Variable
- Total family receives per year£1,200+
We aim to secure donations to sponsor ten or more families for one year, transferring the full amount as soon as possible.
Receiving larger donations upfront — rather than smaller sums over time — reduces the percentage lost to transfer fees and logistical costs.
Sponsor a FamilyThe majority of all donations go directly to families. Costs include UK and Egyptian VAT, international bank transfer fees, and currency exchange variations. A 4% contribution covers licensing fees for the e-learning platform. In addition, 1% of all proceeds is donated to Network for Palestine to support their work. Final figures may be subject to minor variations based on external variable costs.
