Kifah Sasa Marín – Co-founder, Skilamy
Kifah has spent more than two decades putting development money where it changes lives. At UNDP, as Auxiliary Resident Representative, Regional Economic Advisor or Environment and Energy Programme Officer, he raised over US$100 million for development projects in the past ten years and ran a US$20 million-a-year cooperation programmes. Experience with blended-finance operations, land-use-change and climate change information systems. With master’s degrees in Development Studies and Instructional Design, he wrote Education That Pays Back, the book behind Skilamy’s Reward-Driven Training method. At Skilamy he leads strategy and business development. Based in San José, Costa Rica.
Ramón Mena Licairac – Co-founder, CEO & Product Architect
Ramón Mena Licairac is the CEO and Co-Founder of Skilamy, where he merges high technology, education, and culture to revolutionize global learning. An Automation Engineer by trade, Ramón spent years leading complex engineering projects for multinational telecommunications leaders across the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) region. He also directed the iconic Librería Francesa, acting as a prominent promoter of the French language, reading, and cultural exchange. At Skilamy, Ramón channels this unique synthesis of high-tech expertise and rich cultural vision to build next-generation educational experiences. Based in Paris, France.
Olivia Grosvenor – Chief Operating Officer
Olivia Grosvenor is COO of Skilamy, where she drives operational excellence and scales impactful learning experiences globally. A visionary leader in sustainable development and enterprise growth, Olivia brings a proven track record of building initiatives from the ground up.
She previously founded The Recycle Studio, leading circular design innovations, and spearheaded operations for Raleigh International in Nicaragua, managing complex field programs and empowering youth leaders. At Skilamy, Olivia blends strategic vision with operational execution to transform learning into lasting world impact. Based in London, United Kingdom.
Karina Lau – Business development and international sales
Karina Lau Vélez is the Head of Business Development in the Americas at Skilamy. An architect by training (Universidad de Costa Rica) and a proud owner of beehives, she leverages a rich background in eco-conscious entrepreneurship, community outreach, and agricultural and rural development project management.
Currently publishing the first of an inspiring children’s book series, Karina operates from Visalia, California, moving effortlessly across top-tier corporate decision makers. She channels her vast network and creative vision to forge high-impact partnerships with commercial and governmental stakeholders, driving Skilamy’s expansion across the continent.
